Half Moon Caye is a world of wonders above and below the sea
Half Moon Caye is an assemblage of ecosystems of remarkable biodiversity and beauty, great scientific value, and importance for many species of conservation concern, among them the critically endangered hawksbill turtle and goliath grouper, and the endangered green and loggerhead turtles. It also supports what is considered to be the only viable breeding colony of the Red-footed Booby in the Western Caribbean.
